The problem
Out-of-the-box Horizon sections couldn't carry the editorial depth a premium brand needs. Product pages lacked the structure to justify the price point, and the homepage felt generic next to the brand's showroom aesthetic.
What I built
Built a full suite of custom Liquid sections and blocks on Horizon, split content, features grid, comparison table, a Web Component FAQ accordion, guarantee CTA, reviews and an install bento, in a dark “Editorial Obsidian” direction, with improved navigation and mobile layout.
The outcome
A tailored theme system that matches the brand positioning. Motive Goods moved to an ongoing monthly retainer.
