Who does the work
Every line of code on your project is written by me. Nothing is subcontracted, there is no team, and the person who replies to your first email is the person who ships the build.
The trade-off is honest: one person means a queue. I would rather tell you the real start date than take the job and quietly stack it behind three others.

How I decide things
The technical judgement calls that come up on most projects, and where I land on them.

Block theme or ACF
Block theme when the client composes pages themselves and the design system fits in theme.json. ACF when the content is structured and repeated and editors should not be laying anything out.

When I say don't build it
If a requested feature will need a developer every time it is used, it is the wrong feature. I would rather lose a fortnight of billable work than hand over something that needs me forever.

Apps and plugins
Every app has a weight and a renewal date. If twenty lines of theme code does the same job, I write the twenty lines. I will show you the trade in numbers before changing anything.
